Lesson I

Let us always bear in mind that we no longer live for our own self but that we live for Christ, when we pass the water of regeneration which is baptism, we became dead to sin and alive in Christ, as the Scripture says, Christ is the one who reigns in us and not our will, Christ became the centre of our life, and became our life himself,  he became the reason for existence, and the primary ground of our faith, since then we became dead to sin we no longer entertain the things that are of sin, and of the world since he who is “a friend of the world is an enemy of Christ”, but this doesn’t mean that the world is evil, what Saint John mean is that a person who puts more importance on the world than on Christ lives not for Christ but for him self, this is the same with money, money is not evil but the love of money is the root of evil, and by loving money you no longer put Christ in the centre of  your hearts which is proper, instead you put money which is not proper and not good in it self. He who profess himself as follower of Christ must set his mind on Christ and concern himself with things that are for Christ, he must depart from things or works that are not in the light, since all things that are not in the light comes from the evil one, as Saint Paul warned us that all things should be put to light so that we may know where it comes from, he must flee from sins and proximity of committing sins, he must control himself, his passion and lust so that he may not give in to evil concupiscence, but in all this things he must put in mind that it is only with the assistance of our Lord that he can resist all this things, he must put on the robe of innocence, the sword of truth which is God’s word, and the shield of faith. We don’t pretend to be holy, since we are not, but we strive to become holy since our Lord said “be holy just as your Father in Heaven is Holy” the best way to fight temptation is to pray at all times, to flee from sin, for it is much better to become coward in regards to sin, than to face it and later lose, when sin present to you immediately flee from it, don’t ever put yourself in such a situation where in you may meet sin, as Saint Therese of Calcutta once said, “don’t play with fire for you may get burn”.
Control your self in everything, be moderate in everything not too much nor too less but rather moderation, control not only your passion but also your lips, for even though the mouth is a small part of the body but it drag you to eternal damnation given that “you are accountable with every word that comes from your mouth” the mouth speaks what the hearth contents, forgive one another as our Lord had forgiven us, and in everything give thanks to God.

Preces Obligatoris Cotidianis

Oraciones Obligatorias
Obligatory Prayers

A good Christian should at all times remember his Lord and God, especially in the morning when he wakes up; it is a good devotion to give thanks to God the moment that he wakes up, to praise him for his goodness, and for keeping him safe from the perils of the night, to adore him, to ask forgiveness for the sins he committed in the past and to ask for his grace of steadfastness to his will and to help him avoid the proximity of committing sins. It would benefit most the soul who connects his thoughts to God not only at the rising of the sun, but through out his days work, pray constantly is what Saint Paul advise us that we may not give in to the wile of the devil, “the soul is wiling but the body is weak” said our Lord to remind us that we constantly need to pray, to lift our thoughts to God since it is only by doing so that we can fight temptation, prayer is the best weapon against the assault of the enemy who persistently tempts us so that we who are called to the heavenly banquet, to the feast of the angels may not be made worthy join it, that we who are saved by the blood of our Lord would be made unworthy to partake it, pray then always remember to give thanks to God at your waking up, before anything you do, always remember to gave thanks to God, for as what Saint Paul urges us to “Be Thankful to God in everything” and “Do all things in the Name of our Lord”.
To direct the thoughts of the faithful to God, it is advisable that he put in his mind his nothingness, that he recognize that without the aid of our Lord there is nothing that he can do that would prosper, furthermore, to recognize the great love of God for him, that he sent his only son to save him from sins, and from eternal punishment, to know the great mercy of God who came into the world for sinners, and for him, who bless him with everything that he need, who hears him in time of need, who calls him to conversion because he wants him to be with him in the joy of heaven, and that he needs to heed this call every day of his life, and that to know that salvation is a continues observance of the Will of God and his Command, to be aware that it is by grace that he is saved but that he needs to follow the commandment of God, as our Lord stated when a rich young man ask him how is he going to be saved, what must he do to gain eternal life he taught that he must follow the commandment, he needs to recognize all of this things and to plant it to his hearth to fixed it firmly in his mind, and to ask the grace of God to be faithful to Him.

Comentarii de Veritate Natura Homini

Commentario de verdadero natura de los Hombres
Por Sr. Harvie Vallejo

From the beginning of time Man had always seek the reasons of their existence, questions like where did I come from, how where I made, why do I exist, are always supplemented by answers that are at times purely Mythological, Fantastical, Fables and sometimes are Factual, these upholds and supports their beliefs in their group or religion, but this seeking of man, only proves that he is aware and conscious of a greater being who created him, and formed him into existence, who made him for reasons that he and he alone could understand (that is Man himself); why he alone could understand? Because reasons for existence, if you are going to ask men, are not universal, perhaps my reason is different form yours, or your reason is different from mine or from other persons, if you are going to ask each person what’s his personal reason for existence, he is going to enumerate or list things that he thought to be the answers, that’s why I say each person has different reason that only he could understand,  this reasons could also be called mission, mission that directs each person into the things he ought to do or the actions he should take to achieve it, But there is a highest reason or mission for existence, the most noblest and righteous reason is “To Love”,.
God who existed before time, existed to Love, for Love, and by Love, He who called himself Love cannot be Love if he Doesn’t know how to Love, you cannot be a mathematicians if you don’t know mathematics, you cannot be a teacher if you don’t know how to teach, God is the same, not that God can be restricted in what he wills, or to be constrained in human wisdom, but He formed and created all things to reveal his Love, and to be recipients of his Love, this is demonstrated when he created all things for His Love, and it reach its zenith when he sent his only begotten son our Lord Jesus Christ, to save us from eternal damnation, for it is written “For God so Love the world that He Gave his only Begotten Son” and since Human beings where created in His Image and Likeness it is also proper and fitting to say that Human Beings where created to Love, be Love, and to be transmitter of the Love of God to his Fellow men, so by this realization we could joyfully conclude without a single doubt that the Nature of Man is To Love.

El Natura
From childhood man shows it’s capability to received love and to give love, before a child is born his parents shows their love by buying gifts, buying the necessity of the child, (though this involves worldly things this doesn’t take the act of love that the parents showed in providing their child everything they need, for it is common knowledge that parents always think of the welfare of their children) and again by letting the child feels their love by way of caressing the womb, murmuring words of adornment, or by even conversing to their child. When the child is born often all things were done by the parents to ensure that the child is well protected, loved, cared for, well provided, sometimes we could not take the possibility that parents lack money, but even though that they could not give everything that the child needs  still love is showed to and given in abundance. Love is shown in action, and in words, but we cannot possible put into letters how human beings express and show there love to one another, for it won’t give justification to such a noble deed, it is enough to say that parents Love their Children, though at some points there are some whom we may say unworthy to be called parents, but we cannot conclude or assume that thy are incapable of love, no matter how evil a person is, love would still be present in his heart no matter what he does to deny it, to hide it, or to trash it’s importance he still love, willingly or unwillingly, love is a like the air we breath, the water we drink, or the food we eat, it is part of our humanity and of our soul, it cannot be taken out, or be hindered, or to be disregarded as mere feeling or emotion, a human being cannot live without love, how can this be? For example if you are going to raised a child, and you are going to instill in him an extreme animosity to all people, he is going indeed to hate and to loath, but sooner or later he will still learn how to love, if he see the goodness in other people he will conquer this animosity and will discover love, or if a man is banished in an  island where he is alone, he may exist, but he will feel void, or baseless in his being, as if he is incomplete, and  another thing, we human beings from childhood until death are always in search of love, love from our parents, from our friends, from our neighbor, and all those around us, and they in return seek our love, this give and take attitude is important for us that if neglected or if not given or shown we feel lacking, we feel that something is missing in our person, in our life, that something is wanting and as if a big void exist in our being, for God created men to be  wanting, or lacking, not that He will’s evil, but so that man will seek love, to complete him, and by seeking love he seek God, and for him to feel whole he needs to love and be love, we can liken it to night and day, or men and women, or the two side of a coin, that for these to be called whole they must join each other, for neither cannot exist without the other or vice versa, men need to love and be love to be whole,  and also by loving we become united to God, how can this be? Since God is Love himself, it’s essence, its origin or beginning, when we love we become united to God since we take part in His nature, we share in his love, we become essence or fountain of love to our neighbor, how?, first we became recipient of His love then after we have received His love and be filed with it’s essence, we become transmitter of His love, love justify our nature, and by fulfilling it we not only do good to our self but to those whom we share it, a man cannot say he doesn’t love, for first, it’s like saying he doesn’t feel anything, and that would be preposterous, for emotions is a very part of a person, if a man let’s say doesn’t love his parents, due to reason or to a certain motives that he alone knows, then love will find a way to be express, so along will come his friends ready to be recipient of his love, if still he doesn’t love his friends, then love will find another way to be express, by a nice girl or women whom he shall meet and call his wife, if he still doesn’t love his wife then along come his children, if he still doesn’t love his children, then his neighbors will come inn ready to accept his love, if he will still not love then inordinate love will enter, that is love of earthly things, love of the world, of power, of money, and everything that we may say is center only to his self so even though he didn’t showed his love to other beings he still loved through or by loving himself, and that’s what we called self love.

Categoria de Los Amores

Now let us try to categorize love into two category, first category, Ordinate love, and second category inordinate love.
1.             What is ordinate love? Ordinate love is love showed to persons or beings, this love follows the commandment of God, and gives fulfillment to our nature, example of this love are love of parents, love of neighbor, love of relatives, of friends, of enemies etc. this love is called ordinate because it is ordained by God that men should love one another, and further more that his nature should be Love, but since God is all just, all knowing and omnipotent, he gave men the power to choose, if he would go against his nature, or if he would justify it. Ordinate Love is divided into two kinds, Phillia and Agrripa,
·      Phillia love is the highest Kind of Love for this is Love of God, the ancient Greeks who first termed this word never use it because they thought that it was impossible for God to love human beings who are weak, it was the first Christians who use this because Christ gave truth to it, when God sent His only Begotten Son to save us from eternal damnation he gave essence to this form of love thus he proved that He is  really the God of Love, who loved human beings since the beginning of time, and that Love between God and human beings existed, and can exist.
Some people will say, “How can we love God if he is unseen,?” truly it is difficult for us to love someone, whom we do not see, sometimes we even find it hard to love our neighbor whom we see what more God who is Spirit, but in this question God already given His answer, he said “what you do to the least of your brethren you did it to me” or to be more precise “for I was hungry and you gave me food, thirsty and you gave me drink, naked and you gave me cloth,  imprisoned and you  visited me, then the sinners will say when did you we see you in this state Lord? And he will answer, for whatsoever you do to the least of your brethren you did it to me,” this is the answer that God gave men so that they would have no reason to justify their wrong doings, God even simplified the commandment so that men could easily follow it, he said “love God with all your heart, body and soul, and love your neighbor as you love yourself” this simplification of the commandment also  gave human beings a simple but precise law that if followed faithfully would help him attain life everlasting, and this can be found in the Holy Writ, that for men to love God he must show his love to his neighbor, before he could say that he love God, for Saint John said “he who said that he love God but doesn’t love his fellow is a liar, for how can he say that he love God who is sprit if he doesn’t love his fellow whom he sees” there is no need of a longer or specific explanation in this matter, it is quite simple and can be easily understand, first for a man to love God he must love his fellow, if he love his fellow he not only follows the 1st commandment but the entire commandments

·                     Agrripa love is a love shown towards family, relatives,               friends, lover and fellows, like Phillia which is the most noble form of love, Agrripa is also noble but this love precede that of Phillia, and it’s degree is also the same with Phillia, It also has the essence of the Love of God, and a form of love that builds and complete all those who are in it’s center, this kind of love, is a just and complete love, for it is not jealous, ill will, but rather it is kind, it doesn’t rejoice in evil but rejoice in good, it accept who you are, and is patient in all your failings, it is humble, not proud and conceited, it believes in all things, endures in all things and hope in all things.
2. What is inordinate Love? Inordinate love is love that is only centered in self, it only think of it’s own self as the most important of all, and trash everything as insignificant, it is categorized by selfishness, greed, lust, envy, slothfulness, thirst for power, for money, and for all things that could give him pleasure, satisfaction in this life, fame, and wealth. This form of love is dived in to two parts, Eros and material.
·Eros love as symbolize by Cupid is an immature and childish kind of love, it is only centered in self, and only think of how to achieve pleasures or satisfaction at the expense of  the person whom they pledge to love,  it is uncaring, not sympathetic, and greedy, it is like a Cup that after you use it, you return it to the cupboard where it stay’s until the time that you need to use it again, this kind of love doesn’t last for when the receiver thinks that he doesn’t anymore receive the pleasure that he wants’ or need’s, he usually leave behind the  giver to find someone who could satisfies him, and thus love of this sort is not proper love at all.
· Material love is love of worldly things, the accumulation of wealth, of power, and of fame, and this kind of love is selfish, envious, gluttonous, proud, conceited, and evil, for like Eros it only thinks of achieving everything for the good of oneself, and would do everything to retain it or to increase it at the expense of others.
These are the brief explanation on the kinds of love; for love in itself is a very broad subject therefore the author tried it’s best to summarizes it and to give justification to it.

Regina Sacratisimi Rosarii

Here is a short history why we celebrate the Feast of the Most Holy Rosary.

The Feast day of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary. was instituted by Pope St. Pius V in commemoration of the victory at Lepanto against the Mohammedans Turks in 1571, actually it was called Feast day of our Lady of Victories, but it was later change by Pope Gregory XII to its present Title since it was through the intercession of the Most Holy Rosary that Christians became victorious. later on it was extended to the whole of Christendom by Pope Clement XII, after Prince Eugene won the battle against Turks in 1716, lastly Pope Leo XII raised the Feast to the rank of a double of a second class, and inserted the Title "Queen of the Most Holy Rosary" to the Litany of Blessed Virgin.

Laudate Semper Domine

I praise thee my God for thou art good,

I praise thee my God for thou had loved me even though i most unworthy of thy Love,

I praise thee my God for thou art the source of Life, for thou had created us from nothingness, and granted us everything,

I praise thee my God for thou had instilled in our hearts thy Love, that we may share thy love and be recipients of thy Love from our fellow men.

I praise thee my God for thou had showered us with the abundance of thy blessings,

I praise thee my God for thou had filled us with thy strength and constant protection,

I praise thee my God for thy grace and blessings,

I praise thee my God above all, for thou art God worthy of all praise and blessings,

I praise thee for all thy works, and creation, and for everything thou had done and wiliest to do,

therefore with a contrite heart i shall approach thy Holy Sanctuary in Zion,

I shall offer to thee my heart full of contrition, and from thy highest Sanctuary in Heaven, look down with thy mercy, i beg of thee, most Merciful God, and accept my pleas, for i shall confess to thee my sins,

for i shall enumerate to thee the sins of my youth and the sins of my loins, the guilty pleasures i had committed in darkness and wicked things i had done, all shall i confess to thee Most Merciful God, and then i shall trust completely to thy Mercy and like Prophet David i shall say with him, "For in sins have i been conceived and in iniquity had my Mother begotten me" and like St. Paul i shall remind thee "that no one is justified in thy sight for all had sins"

O turn then thy eyes of Mercy and Compassion, wash me from all my guilt and i shall be clean, hearken to my cry my Lord and God, for i had hoped and trusted in thee, forsake me not O Lord my God, and deal not with me according to my sins, but rather in thy mercy hear and answer me,

then i shall proclaim thy praise and glories that all my know about thy Great Mercy, then all shall praise thee and magnify thee for what thou had done unto me, thy unworthy servant, for thou had showed thy Mercy and Love,

then with cymbals and strings shall we sing to thy praise,

Be pleased with us O Lord and shed thy Light on us, aide us in every temptations least we fall to sins, send forth thy constant protection, and help us to be strong in our resolutions that we may one day give thee praise where you live and reign.

My help comes in the Name of the Lord

Who made heaven and earth

Glory be to thee o Lord

Eco de tu Nombre

Names from the past un-forgotten
Over the years it kept on resounding
Echo and murmuring a sad refrain
Lies  and hurt remains, pain and sorrow it attains

Mist of the Past, why don’t you leave me?
Are you happy when you can hurt me?
Neither bliss or joy my soul feels
And in sorrows my fate is sealed
Love though once pleasure you had shared
Only gloom and sadness my heart is now paired

Tears flows and dreams are shattered
Memories remain and hearts are battered
Will I still remember you, who took my heart captive?
Who like a mirage fooled my heart, and deceived
Will I still hold on that love that brings more pain
fool i may be and yes perhaps insane
but the answer is yes though its insane
for my love for you will never wane.

Sentimientos de un Corazon

i wrote this in my FB account, the 9th of May 2010,
my sentiments for my beloved, whom i cannot stop from loving...

Miserere mei Domine..

tis not fitting that thou should inquire how much i love thee, for i cannot paint with words nor explicate with letters the sentiments that I strongly feel for thee, I love thee more than my whole being, and my entire self, and no one can ever separate thy love from mine, thou and thou alone have the power to rule over me and no one shall I ever love except thee, I love thee third from God and my Family, and I long to be with thee until eternity
